Yule Adore a little Spice This Christmas – Day Fourteen

Thursday, December 14th, 2017

A day in the life of Lajina.

It’s thawing out and I have spent the day catching up with admin, planning a cooking lesson, organising a buffet including cutlery hire, tidying my office and making up spices.

Today’s spicing was chef crush (lovely in soups, rice and bhajes), chaat masala (a finishes on salad and dips, only use a tiny amount)  and cardamom kick an alternative curry maker without ginger and garlic, use exactly as you would curry masala.

I have also been planning tomorrow’s cooking class at the food school in Harborne in Birmingham.  It is the alternative to the usual Christmas party but with all the familiar ingredients we love at Christmas.

I have only taught twice at the gorgeous cookery school, but the owners, Robert and Shaleen have made me feel very welcome and it’s a lovely space to teach in.

If you live in the Midlands and would like me to plan your event at the cookery school, please get in touch.

Hope your Christmas plans are taking shape and see you tomorrow!
