Yule Adore a little Spice This Christmas – Day Sixteen

Saturday, December 16th, 2017

Last night I taught a group of four, a mother and daughter and husband and wife to cook a Christmas ingredient Indian feast at Harborne Cookery School in Birmingham.

It’s a beautiful cooking school in a listed building with fabulous owners (Robert and Shaleen) and the team who assist are so helpful and supportive, it’s the third time I have taught there so I must be doing something right.

The group made three dishes each, butter chicken, beetroot raita and a carrot, brussel sprout and chestnut stir-fry using chef crush.  All the ingredients are laid out and ready for the clients.

There is an extra salad and herb bar laid out, so they have the freedom to change flavours.

I did a daal and rice demo, the group chose a Christmas inspired fruit and nut rice, we all got stuck in and made chapaties together.

Was a great night, please get in touch if you’d like to book a cooking lesson with me, we can look at venues and create the perfect experience for you.

Merry Christmas and hope you are looking forward to the final prep of Christmas.
