So, toadToday, Monday 11th December, I have woke up to crisp snow (lots of it) and I have a meeting in Birmingham. The main M54 motorway was closed and I couldn’t get a taxi to the station and the trains were delayed.
I knew there were problems yesterday, with fellow business owners, stuck in Shropshire. We took the day off and went out playing in the deep snow.
Back to today’s exceptional weather, it’s been -6 overnight and I am terrified to drive in it.
So, I messaged the person I was meeting and she’s brilliant with technology so she arranged a Skype call to make some plans, we had a very productive meeting, even if I say so myself.
Whilst it would be great to say I never change plans, the advice was to only make essential journeys and we managed around this. I tackled my paperwork and enjoy the view from my office.
So today’s top tip is to stay safe and eat curry!
