Yule Adore a little Spice This Christmas – Day Twenty-Two

Friday, December 22nd, 2017

I’ve been making dips to go with various dishes today.  If you have cooked or eaten with me, you’ll know that I love to make different styles of dips, oozing with flavours.

I try to vary them so they bring different dishes to life and hope that I can cater for all tastes.

Today, I’ve made a fruity tamarind with clementine, adding some sweetness to the dishes they accompany.  I’ve also made a spicy fresh chilli sauce, here’s the recipe.  /recipe/lajinas-fresh-chilli-sauce/

I’ve made a beetroot raita, simply coarsely grate some fresh beetroot into yoghurt and then add chilli and sugar with a tiny sprinkle of garam masala.  It’s lovely and festive, perfect for this time of year.

The point of spicing up everyday dishes using dips is you can please a crowd, adding their favourite flavours, without too many dishes.

Add a little spice to your life this Christmas!
