A huge thank you for your incredible support and from our family to yours, we wish you a super healthy and happy new year.

Reflecting on the year, I think it’s important to keep you updated on my physical and mental wellbeing. I’m still training in the gym and feel like I’ve made huge progress on my health, through a tricky year. I’ve stopped weighing and measuring myself but have a plan to get back on track in 2024. I’ll be sharing lots of tips and there will be a focus on perfecting a healthy, speedy curry base that you can bake, cook on the hob or slow cook to create perfectly seasoned curries to replace those jars that are full of unhealthy additives.

Through 2023, my health has been an ongoing battle but I’ve worked through this with the love and support of Krish and I’m so glad that I persevered with training in the gym which has provided tremendous benefits in mind, body and spirit. I’ve continued to train through the tough times, it’s been an incredible journey and I’d recommend the gym to everybody.

Talking about the benefit of a healthy lifestyle, says she while stuffing shortbreads, dunked in masala chai… is huge. We got some Christmas decorations from the loft and in previous years, Krish would carry the stuff down himself but as I am so much fitter, I can help and share tasks to speed things up.

If you are considering training, look at the class timetables in your local gym and try each class twice before you decide you hate them.  You will find the trainers will push you and you’ll make new friends along the way. I smile when I think of the trainers in our gym, I don’t think they fully understand the impact they have on our lives. I bounce out of the gym, feel super excited and energised when I have trained, please give it a go!

I plan to share my healthy cooking journey through Curry Club as so many members have reached out and asked for healthier, nutritionally dense dishes for all members of their family to share.

Our son, Sam has been home this Christmas, he left home back in March to settle in Manchester. He is deeply missed at mealtimes, especially if I have cooked something he would enjoy. Home cooking is the glue to our family, an easy way to stop and catch up over food.

As the year comes to a close, it’s only natural to reflect on the business. I’ve recently won an award with a business coaching programme, having joined in October, the timing of this was perfect and will help me to shape all aspects of the business to support you to cook the best curry and sides, to suit your taste.

If you want to learn how to make healthy, delicious authentic food from scratch, join our Curry Club, where you can cook-along live with me. Click here to find out more.

Wishing you the happiest, healthiest and super productive year ahead, from our family to yours.
