Lajina Masala
To make a super healthy, delicious and versatile curry base that can become any of your favourite restaurant style curries, all you need is a sachet of our handmade curry masala spices, a recipe and a little patience.I'll start by frying finely chopped onions in a splash of oil for ten minutes, then grated ginger/garlic with a pinch of salt, continuously stirring until the onions start to separate. Add the curry masala spices with a generous splash of water, frying until little bubbles of oil appear. A little splash of oil will tease those spices at this point.Take your time, a little love and patience is soooo worth it.THIS glossy, paste like base is showing signs of great curry sauce, a flavour bomb on its' way!The base should be separating, oil bubbles appearing, spices are cooked through, you've just cooked the greatest base, hopefully in twenty minutes with splashes of water allowing you to cook a lower fat curry than your usual take out.In curry club, we take the base and turn it into a jalfrezi, korma, tikka masala, dhansak, passanda and sooo many others. It's all the love in that home style base.Home cooking is so much more than a chore. It's the freedom, love and respect around your dining table to create the ultimate legacy. You really need to meet me in person, drill down to understand the difference home cooking has made to our gorgeous little family. Also, dont forget it's my birthday month, November is the month of gifting. The gift of time, the presence of my loved ones is all I need this bi#curryupchristmasr#foodiegiftideasr#christmasgiftso#corporateteambuildinga#indianfoodporateteambuilding #indianfood The See MoreSee Less
