Terms & Conditions

Please read though our terms and conditions which you are required to accept prior to making a purchase.

1. Full payment is required at time of purchase.

2. Gift vouchers are non refundable and no cash alternative can be offered. Vouchers are valid for 12 months only but may be extended at the discretion of Lajina Masala. Delivery of all gift vouchers and purchases from our online shop or via telephone when in stock will be dispatched within 3-5 working days of your order. There is a postage and package charge for purchases. Should you change your mind after making a purchase you have 3 days to notify us. Return postage will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Refunds and Cancellations

We want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase that you make from us. However, we do understand that there may be rare occasions when you wish to return an item. If you are unhappy with a product for any reason please contact us immediately.

If any payment is subsequently withdrawn, disputed, charged back or reversed in any way by the customer, the full amount, an administration fee and any additional fees incurred by Lajina Masala will become payable by the customer.

We may decline to accept your order for any reason whatsoever. We may otherwise cancel any order or any part of it. Other than as set out in these terms and conditions, we shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of any kind, which you might suffer by reason of us declining to accept or for cancelling your order.

Corporate Orders

If you are placing an order through a company we may agree to credit terms, subject to receipt of your Purchase Order.  Separate terms will apply. Please contact us to make arrangements.

Delivery Process

General Terms

You must pay in full by debit or credit card in advance when you submit your order through our website. Payment will be collected at the time of placing the order. Full payment must be received in advance before any goods are prepared or despatched.

Working days are Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays in England.

Lajina Masala or any of its partners shall not be liable for any consequential loss to the customer whether this arises from a breach of contract or any other way.

Your statutory rights are not affected by any statement contained in this document or our website.
English law applies to all transactions.

By placing an order with Lajina Masala either through our website, over the telephone, or by any other medium you are agreeing to these terms.

All delivery charges and options can be viewed on the checkout page once you have entered the number of products you wish to purchase.

Delivery is based on a 3-5 day service which excludes Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays to UK mainland only.

Spice packs sent by second class post as this is the most cost effective delivery method. Should you wish to order these using a signed for service please email us with a price request.

We are able to deliver to European countries. To arrange delivery, please contact us.

If you would like to request a price for delivery to other areas not shown on the above list please email us at hello@lajinamasala.com  Please note European deliveries may take longer, please check with us first if you are unsure.

Delivery and Return of Spice Packs

Spice packs will be despatched in a post-friendly manner and can only be delivered to addresses within the United Kingdom, charge of £3.50 (including Northern Ireland); this excludes PO Box addresses and BFPO addresses.

There is a local delivery charge of £1.00 for deliveries in the Telford, Newport and Wellington postal area, contact us before placing your order, if you are in doubt.

We currently use Royal Mail second class postage to deliver the boxes to you. Proof of delivery is not obtained. Actual delivery times may vary for you depending on;

i) our stock availability,
ii) your delivery address,
iii) when you place your order, and
iv) circumstances impacting delivery by the Royal Mail.

We reserve the right to use alternative delivery methods without prior notification.

You will not hold us responsible for any delays, outside our control, which relate to your delivery.
It is the customer’s responsibility to report all lost boxes online within 7 days. Customers are obliged to comply with either Royal Mail’s claim compensations process. Failure to comply with these processes, as amended from time to time, will result in no refund.

When you place an order for Lajina Masala pots, please be aware that they will still be sent via Royal Mail post and may be subject to delays. We therefore cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day and will not be held liable for delays outside of our control.

Your order will be very carefully packaged so that it arrives in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that any item appears to have been damaged during transit, we must be notified within 24 hours of receipt, or the next working day. Any replacement products and refunds will be considered and may be granted, at our discretion and only in the event that the item is damaged beyond reasonable use. We will require evidence of any damage, which must be received by us within 7 days of the original delivery. This evidence may be in the form of photographs and must include the original packaging.

We will deliver to the address provided by you. If that address is incomplete or incorrect in any way we accept no liability for late delivery or non-delivery. Any redirection charges must be paid for by the customer.
